In-Game SMITE Title Available on Nexus

Beginning November 16th, SMITE players who spend more than $50 on SMITE-related items in their favorite content creator’s Nexus will be awarded the Nexus-exclusive in-game title of “Exemplar” as a token, and thank you for their support.

Achieve Exemplar Status Exclusively on Nexus

The title, which is distributed post-purchase via a key once the threshold has been met, lets other players know that those who’ve been awarded the title are a prime example of what a SMITE player should be — supportive of other SMITE content creators and players.

Impact on Creators & Their Customers

The addition of this title gives creators a more compelling call to action and it gives players added incentive to continue supporting content creators.

The $50 minimum does not need to be spent all at once nor does it need to be spent exclusively in a single creator’s Nexus.

Customers can purchase SMITE-related items in multiple Nexus stores and have their progress tracked toward the threshold in their own Nexus account.

Impact for Publishers on Nexus

While the initial SMITE reward is a single in-game title, there is flexibility in the type of digital reward and the threshold that customers are required to meet in order to get it. We’re excited to build on this functionality in the future for tiers — rewarding players who support creators at the highest levels.

While the feature that allows the distribution of in-game rewards was built to support the SMITE and Nexus partnership, any publisher operating on Nexus can utilize it.
