As we venture into a new month, we’re thrilled to share the latest enhancements that will empower Publishers to maximize their experience with Nexus. This month brings a host of valuable improvements, from enhanced customization options for publishers to new payout choices for creators, and a sneak peek into what lies ahead. Let’s dive right in!
SKU-Specific Revenue Share
Expanding on our effort to give publishers as much flexibility as possible when customizing their Support-a-Creator programs, we’re happy to announce that we’ve added the ability to customize revenue share by SKU. This means that publishers can specify specific SKUs from their games to give custom revenue shares to creators. Not only that but these SKU-specific revenue shares can also be targeted to specific Creator Tiers (see our announcement last month) and they can even be scheduled just like any other revenue share change. These new capabilities give the ultimate level of customization to publishers so that they can build exactly the kind of Support-a-Creator program they want.
The SKU-Specific Revenue Share feature is currently available by request, so please let us know if you’d like to make use of it. We plan to make it generally available via the publisher dashboard soon.
Improved Sales Dashboards
We’ve also recently improved our publisher sales dashboards by adding graphs for visualizing sales and transaction history and by adding the ability to easily export sales history as well.
These small changes are just the first step in a larger publisher dashboard overhaul that is currently in the works. Over the past year and a half, we’ve added a huge amount of functionality to the publisher dashboard, but the current organization has left something to be desired. That’s why we’re fundamentally rethinking the structure and purpose of our dashboards to make sure that it’s giving our publisher partners a great user experience. The graphs and sales history export functionality are available in dashboards now and publishers can look forward to a more streamlined dashboard experience in Q4 of this year.
New Payout Option for Creators: Venmo
Creators can now select to be paid out via Venmo along with the existing payout options. We’re constantly looking for new ways to delight creators, and we think adding one of the most popular money transfer apps is exactly the type of thing that creators will appreciate. We expect to continue to add support for a wider range of payout solutions in the future, so keep an eye on this space.
Coming Soon
Soon, you can expect to see the revamped publisher dashboard as mentioned above, the ability to set and schedule SKU-specific revenue shares directly in the publisher dashboard, and the ability to set different revenue shares by platform (e.g. iOS, Xbox, PC, etc). That’s just the tip of the iceberg of what we have planned and we can’t wait to show you what else we’re working on.
