We won’t be entering the holiday season leaving you empty-handed, here are some new features and improvements we’ve made across the Nexus platform.
Streamlined Creator Onboarding Experience
The creator’s experience on Nexus is incredibly important to us. That’s why we’ve recently streamlined the onboarding process by removing some requirements before their account is fully active. This will make it easier and faster for creators to get up and running, decrease support requests and questions for publishers, and increase the chances of happy and engaged creators.
Creator Notifications System
Keeping with the theme of improvements for creators, we’ve also added a new notification system for creators in their dashboard. To start, this notification system will just be used for Nexus platform messages, but we plan to open it up soon to other use cases like messages from publishers and notifications about the support-a-creator programs they’re enrolled in.
Increased Attribution API Flexibility
In our quest to make our API as powerful as possible, we’ve added the ability for publishers to pass along any number of creator codes in a single transaction call. Want to allow players to select more than one creator to support at a time? Want to allow the support of teams of creators for events? As you can see, this will allow for even more flexibility in how publishers run their Support-a-Creator programs. We look forward to seeing our publisher partners use this newfound flexibility in the wild early next year.
Coming Soon
That’s not all! We’re hard at work on several new features focused on making the creator onboarding flow even more powerful. Soon, publishers will be able to set minimum and maximum subscriber requirements specific to each social platform (YouTube, Twitch, etc) that content creators must meet to join Support-a-Creator programs.
Additionally, Nexus will allow publishers to upload contracts and agreements that creators must read, agree to, and sign before being accepted into programs. We hope you’re looking forward to these features as much as we are. Happy holidays!
