Nexus Updates for January-Febuary, 2021

At Nexus, we’re always on the lookout for ways to improve your experience and better support you, your content, and your community. We’re pretty excited about a few new features that we think will do just that.

Video/Stream Embed

Thanks to your valuable feedback, we’ve added video embeds to Nexus! You can now showcase your content directly on your Nexus homepage by choosing to display your active Twitch stream or a specific Twitch VOD or YouTube video. Add a video to your Nexus in the Settings page of your Creator Dashboard.

Purchase Alerts

We expanded our Purchase Alerts integration to include StreamElements. You can now set up purchase alerts for your livestream in the Settings page of your Creator Dashboard using either StreamElements or Streamlabs. This feature allows you to receive live notifications when customers purchase games from your Nexus. It’s a great way to connect with your community and show your gratitude for their support.

And, your purchase alerts will now let you know when your customers add a tip or donation so you can show them some love.

Celebrating Tips

Now, when your customers add a tip or donation to their order at checkout, they’ll see confetti celebrating their support. AND, the confetti increases the more they tip!

Multiple Game Library Filters

You can now select multiple filters within each filterable section in the Game Library to provide the most relevant results when browsing our extensive game offerings.

Creator Onboarding

We’ve launched an Onboarding Checklist for new Nexus Creator accounts. This feature will guide new users through the steps for setting up their account, designing their Nexus, and adding and reviewing games, as well as guiding them through best practices to aid in their success. While many of you won’t see this feature (it only shows up for new accounts), we do recommend checking out this blog post on best practices to make sure you’re taking advantage of Nexus’ tools.

Helpful Emails

To better equip you with helpful information, we’ve spent some time connecting our email server with our back-end system. This will allow us to help you along your journey with Nexus from setting up your account to recommending new games and promotions. This way, you’ll get the most relevant information, when you need it.

New Nexus Homepage

Our homepage has a new look :eyes: In addition to the reskin, we’ve updated our homepage with our new video, explaining the benefits of creating your own Nexus.
