Platform Update: Webshops, Content Insights, Kick Integration, and Dashboard Improvements

Welcome back to our latest Nexus platform update! We’ve rolled out major new features and launched a brand-new product, Webshops. Let’s dive in!

Introducing Webshops

Bloons Battles TD Webshop

We’re super excited to talk about Webshops, our totally new product line that gives publishers new ways to sell directly to players while supporting creators and getting more revenue on every purchase. Here’s a quick breakdown of how Webshops can benefit you:

  • Integrated In-Game Entitlements: Seamlessly deliver purchases directly to players’ accounts.

  • Bypass Platform Fees: Avoid the standard 30% cut taken by Apple and Google.

  • Player & Creator Bonuses: Incentivize purchases with discounts, bonus items, and a built-in Support-a-Xreator program.

  • Anti-Steering Compliant: Let creators lead players to your webshop through organic promotion that complies with Apple and Google anti-steering rules.

  • Global Support: Offer foreign currency support, regional pricing, and even gifting right out of the box.

  • Flexible Authentication: Support for multiple authentication methods to reduce friction for customers.

  • Custom Revenue Shares: Configure unique creator revenue splits for webshop vs. in-game programs.

More Dashboard Improvements

If you’ve read our previous updates, you know that we’re always finding ways to make running a support-a-creator program as easy as possible, and this update is no different. We've made it easier for publishers to tailor their creator programs with more flexibility when configuring program requirements.

On the creator side, we've introduced new tools for reviewing performance, including the ability to filter and export transaction history by date range. These updates give both publishers and creators better control and visibility into creator program activity.

Kick Integration

Kick Logo Green

Creators streaming on Kick can now sign up and authenticate directly with Nexus, opening up new opportunities for programs that want to expand beyond Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and X. This integration helps publishers tap into more creator communities without additional friction.

Content Insights (Beta)

Nexus Content Insights

Finally, we want to introduce a new in-development feature we’re calling Content Insights. Content Insights is an AI-powered feature designed to give publishers greater visibility into the content being produced by their creators by automatically surfacing relevant videos from creators in a program and delivering key metrics such as views, likes, and sentiment analysis of both video content and comments. Publishers will also be able to view full video transcripts and AI-generated summaries, making it faster to understand what content a creator is making.

It’s important to note that Content Insights is still in early development. It only marks the first step of what we envision to be a suite of features designed to help publishers monitor and track the content that creators in their programs make. Expect some rough edges and bugs, but please reach out if you have any feedback or questions!

Coming Soon

As usual, we’re working on a host of other features and improvements. Look for more updates in the coming months, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to learn more about Nexus.
