Platform Update: Improvements to Content Insights, Discord Bot, and Lots More

Happy holidays from the Nexus team!

We’ve shipped a lot since our last update, enough new features and improvements that it made sense to roll them into one release. While this is our biggest update yet, what follows are just a few highlights. If you’d like a full tour of the platform, our team is happy to walk you through it.

Improved Creator Onboarding & Application Flow

Hmc Cogm

We redesigned significant parts of the creator sign-up and program application experience so creators get in faster and with less friction. Highlights include improving error-prone inputs, clearer step-by-step copy and UX, tooltip indicators where creators need more context, creator metrics requirement indicators, and a smoother “create account → apply” flow so OAuth paths are emphasized and the overall application is less confusing. These changes reduce dropoff and help creators complete program applications without support tickets.

Discord Channel Integration

Publishers can now connect their official Discord channel to Nexus, allowing (or requiring) creators to automatically join their Discord when they are accepted into their creator programs. Not only that, but we added controls to assign Discord roles based on creator program tier as well. That means you can enforce server membership during sign-up and have the bot hand out tier-specific roles (e.g., Featured Creator versus Core Creator) automatically. This will let publishers keep server role membership in sync with their Nexus creator program and reduce manual work for community teams.

Content Insights Search, Saved Searches, & Daily Roundup Emails

One of our most exciting features, Content Insights, also got some major improvements. Publishers can now search across all content, including within transcripts, for keywords and phrases that creators in their programs are using. In addition, those searches can be saved, and publishers can receive daily roundup emails when any new content with those keywords or phrases are used.

Other Improvements

A quick list of other wins throughout the platform:

Improved Exports for Reporting

We’ve improved exportable reports throughout the publisher dashboard by including new columns with important information like creator language and country, program name, creator tier, and more.

More Granular Publisher Permissions

Publishers can now scope user permissions on a per-program basis, allowing for greater flexibility and data security when adding new administrators or managers.

New Creator Requirement Options

Several new creator requirement options have been added: in-game player ID, creator country, creator language, creator must be at least 18 years of age.

Creator Terms & Agreements Section

Creators now have a single destination to view all publisher-required terms and agreements that they accepted when applying to programs
